Each of our ferrules has been carefully designed to be cushioned, shock absorbing and yet robust. These will keep jarring to a minimum and the added grip will stop you from slipping as much as possible. The design ensures any impact or fear from using crutches is minimised and your upper body joints are protected. Depending on your lifestyle and weight bearing requirements, you may wear through them more quickly than others. It is strongly recommended you keep a close eye on your ferrules and ensure these are replaced before any wear-through happens. It is also advisable to ensure you have a spare pair of ferrules at all times so you are never caught short. This is particularly key when travelling. When changing your ferrules, it is key to check the grey plugs/caps in the bottom of your sticks are secure and in place before putting new ferrules on. Our walking crutches have been designed with a wider, moulded handle to better distribute weight and reduce pressure on your hands. These soft crutch grips add even more protection, so you can move with comfort and confidence. We recommend checking every month and replacing every 3-12 months depending on usage. All crutches arrive with a pair of soft neoprene grips. Our crutch grips are machine washable but we recommend replacing over time due to everyday wear and tear. To replace your grips, pull the end over the handle and slide on.

Ensure you are getting the best grip on your walking stick but combining moulded handles and cushioned grips. These grips are extremely soft, they are made from neoprene and have been specifically designed for Cool Walking Stick handles. Each walking stick handle is moulded specifically for left and right hands. These grips slide over the handle for added cushioning and comfort, time to wave goodbye to blisters once and for all! Please note these grips are only for Cool Walking Sticks and will not fit Cool Crutches. We recommend checking every month and replacing every 3-12 months depending on usage. Each walking stick purchase includes a soft neoprene grip, which are machine washable, but over time we do recommend replacing as and when wear and tear requires. To replace the grips, simply pull the grip over the end of the handle and slide the new replacement on.
