It's not often that we have a chance to rewrite history. Perhaps once in a lifetime, and maybe not even that. But right now, at this moment, we have just such a chance. A few years ago, the Kitab al-Maghāzī, by the renowned Tabi’i scholar Musa ibn ‘Uqbah, was rediscovered. It had been missing for over 400 years. It is now the oldest known work of Seerah still extant. The history books will literally have to be rewritten. Over the past year, the IGP manuscripts team has translated the text of the Maghāzī into English. We are now finally, at long last, honored to release an English translation of Musa ibn ‘Uqbah’s Kitab al-Maghāzī, under the title The Maghāzī of Sayyidunā Muhammad ﷺ. In order to ensure this text is shared as widely as possible, we have decided to make the ebook available for free. IGP’s ebook edition of the Maghāzī includes: - English translation of the manuscript text - Introduction and history of the work - Foreword by Shaykh Abdul Aziz Suraqah with detailed discussion of the science of sīrah - Footnotes to provide context and explanation by Ustadh Talut Dawood, as well as the sources of the dozens of Qur'anic verses woven into the text - Biography of the author And more. [New] TGP Library Set (2024-25 Edition) is now available. This set includes all of the books that IGP released in either hardcover or paperback from Eid al-Fitr 2024 up until today. We were blessed to publish 22 titles within this past year. It has become an annual tradition for us to make all of the books published within a particular year available as a set. For all of us on the IGP team, it is a rather satisfying way to look back at a year's work. It's also a good opportunity to offer these titles to our community with a big discount. And we're launching the IGP Library Sets (2024-25 Edition) with one of the best deals we've ever offered. But this special pricing is only for the first twenty sets sold. After that, it goes up to regular (discounted) price. This special discount won’t last long: https://imamghazali.co/products/igp-library-set-2024-2025-edition
