Not only will this pant keep out moisture, but it will shed briars and keep your legs protected better than any other technical upland pant on the market. We also heard our customers, and made some recommended changes. We added a second zippered pocket at the rear and brought the facing up higher on the leg for added protection. At just 20oz, it is the lightest and toughest upland brush pant you will find. As with all of our pants, the Dakota features articulated knees, a gusseted crotch, and a comfort fit waist band. For 2025, we have increased room through the thighs and brought up the rise for a more comfortable wearing pant. The back of the hand is made with 4 way stretch nylon for abrasion resistance and ease of movement. Incorporated in the thumb and middle finger is conductive leather so you can use your smart devices without removing your gloves. We also gave this glove a shorter cut so it won’t interfere with wrist movement or your ability to check your watch. We constructed our Tongass Jacket with an industry leading 3 layer 100% waterproof breathable fabric. We added waterproof zippers throughout to ensure water cannot get through to your core. Every pocket is designed to give you easy access while wearing your upland strap vest. The two zippered chest pockets double as a core venting system that replaces the need for pit vents that often gape open and can easily get caught on brush. The two zippered hand pockets are set high enough to clear the top of your vest’s waist belt. The hood is fully integrated and adjustable to give you added protection from rain when needed. We also gave the jacket a generous but not oversized length to ensure that it does not ride up while wearing an upland vest.
