The Baja Bracket Rear Shock mount kit is a solution Van Compass has developed to eliminate one of the glaring shortcomings in the Sprinter's rear suspension setup: a single shear upper shock bolt . Without reinforcement on both sides of the upper shock bushing, this puts a large amount of cyclical stress on the factory shock bolt. Over time, the bolts can stretch or come loose after long miles of washboards, and the bolt eventually yields at the worst possible location: right where it enters the threaded bung on the chassis. Our Baja Bracket is a sturdy, precision engineered solution to capture both sides of the upper shock bushing and eliminate the dangerous fulcrum effect that causes a bolt to eventually shear. The part is laser cut and CNC bent from 3/16" formed steel, fixture welded to ensure accuracy, then powder coated for good looks and longevity. A complete hardware kit and slotted holes ensure perfect fit and alignment on all vans, while a machined tubular brace dissipates the load of the shock safely throughout the frame rail.

Whether you are looking for maximum stability in highway travel and treacherous wind conditions, or maximum compliance off pavement, we're able to minimize side to side sway and balance out jarring impacts using our deep knowledge of suspension tuning. The cornerstone of our Stage 4.3 kit is the 4-corner, adjustable Falcon 3.3 Fast Adjust Shocks with their huge range of compression adjustment available at the simple flip of a large, easily accessed Fast Adjust knob. This allows you to quickly adjust from the softest to firmest settings over a significantly larger range than the competition's smaller adjusters. A larger range of adjustment means the shocks are more effective and adaptable to multiple modes of use. The rear mini leaf spring pack, tuned specifically to work with the stock rear leaf spring, restores lost ride height and corrects sag while retaining the quiet ride of the factory leaf spring. Typically, 1.25" of rear lift is seen, resulting in a nicely leveled stance. Our progressive foam Bump Buddy replacement jounce bumpers replace your hard factory rubber bump stops, adding improved spring curve progression, reducing sway, and increasing bottom out resistance without any unnecessary clunking or harshness.
Add protection and peace of mind in the backcountry with the Van Compass rear differential skid plate which adds a smooth surface to slide over obstacles on the trail and protects the thin, low hanging lip of the stock differential cover. T hanks to a low hanging factory cover loss of gear is a real concern for Sprinter owners, whether from a low hanging obstacle or careless shop tech using the wrong jack point. Our differential skid plate protects the driveshaft u-joint, cast iron differential center section and lower portion of the thin sheet metal differential cover from being peeled back, and bolts on in minutes with simple hand tools. Gear oil changes can still easily be performed without skid plate removal.
It's hard to not love the sleek, modern styling of the 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter VS30 vans. The only complaint we at Van Compass have about them is the tiny wheel openings Mercedes designed into them. Unfortunately, fitment of anything bigger than a 245/70/17 tire will rub the inner fender liners or pinch seam on the van. Even with our 2" Striker lift kits, the ability to run a larger tire is hindered without addressing the small wheel openings. The Big Tire Mudflap Bracket Kit allows fitment of up to a 35 x 12.5 x 17" tire on a 4x4 van equipped with our 2" Striker Lift Kit. 2wd vans can easily clear up to a 285/70/17 tire when paired with our 2" Striker lift system as well. Our bracket kit addresses not only the small front wheel openings, but it also provides a solution in the rear of the van to get some proper tires on your VS30 Sprinter van. The Big Tire Mudflap Brackets are made from laser cut & CNC formed steel plate that has been powder coated for a durable, long lasting finish. Installation is simple and just requires cutting and trimming of the lower portions of the rear of the fender arches for a clean installation all while retaining the stock mudflaps for a near factory finished look.
Improve the ride quality and stance of your 2013-Present Ford Transit with the Van Compass Ford Transit Topo 2.0 front and rear Suspension Package. Developed specifically to work around the packaging and front CV shaft constraints presented with the 2020 AWD Transit platform, this kit is compatible with both RWD and AWD Transit models from 2013-present to deliver a true 2.0" of quality suspension lift. This kit fits single and dual rear wheel vans. The first component is a carefully engineered 1.25" lift coil, which coil retains the factory spring rate and returns the same plush ride as OEM while sitting 1" higher in the suspension travel for an increased 1.25" of compression travel. Note, spring lift heights will vary due to weight but we typically see 1.25" of lift out of our Transit springs over the factory springs. The second critical component of the Topo 2.0 kit addresses one of the downsides to the Ford Transit platform which is the lack of any real camber or caster adjustment built into the front suspension design of the van. This comes into play when trying to lift the vehicle for more ground clearance and improved ride quality since nearly any amount of lift will put the vehicle out of alignment specs and increase tire wear. An additional hurdle presented with the AWD Transit platform is the extremely short passenger side CV shaft. This CV joint will go into a bind if it is over-extended by more than 1.0" of additional droop over stock. To remedy the alignment issues as well as not over-extend the passenger side CV shaft on AWD models, we developed a 3/4" strut spacer with built in camber and caster correction for the 2.0" of total lift gained when installing the 1.0" lift coils and strut spacer to have a complete front end upgrade that won't accelerate wear on other critical suspension and steering components such as control arm bushings, tie rod ends and front axle shafts on AWD models. Front sway bar link extensions are included to maintain proper sway bar position. For optimum ride quality improvement, pair the Topo 2.0 front kit with a Bilstein B6 strut for an additional 5/8" of lift and a great improvement in damping control. The Bilstein strut has the coil spring perch welded onto the strut body at a  5/8" higher height than the factory strut which preloads the coil spring an additional 5/8" for slightly more lift. The one disclaimer we must specify for AWD models is the Bilstein strut shaft is approximately 7/8" longer than the OEM strut which means at full droop the suspension is at a total of +1-5/8" of extended downward travel which does put the passenger side CV joint into a bind at droop. We cannot guarantee optimum CV life with this setup and do not recommend running Bilstein struts on AWD vans. We recommend running a maximum tire size of 265/75R16 with this suspension package. This tire size will require some trimming of the inner pinch seam, details of which are covered in the instructions for this kit. With a Bilstein strut, an astounding 12-3/4" of ground clearance is achieved under the center of the front suspension cross member with this tire size. **NOTE** Tire sizes vary greatly between manufacturers. Trimming of the body will vary because of this and some contact with the suspension subframe is possible at full steering lock with 265/75R16 tires. Additionally, some 265/75R16 tires will require the use of a 3/16" thick wheel spacer to clear the strut body.
