Coleoptera are insects that turned protection into an art form. Their defining feature is a dual-wing system. Through millions of years of evolution, the front pair transformed into rigid protective elytra, forming a natural armor. These shield the body and the delicate flight wings from impact, dust, and moisture, keeping them concealed until they are truly needed. In creating this collection, we reinterpreted the principle behind the wing system of beetles. The pockets in our garments are concealed beneath the outer layer of fabric and reveal themselves only when needed. This is our interpretation of a natural mechanism in which functionality and transformation exist as one.
